Want to know Jesus?

Well friend, we are excited that you are interested in our Saviour Jesus Christ.

And really the Gospel is simple. Jesus himself stated “whosoever believes in him (the Messiah) should not perish, but have eternal life.” (John3:15) Jesus also said, “I am the way, the truth and the life: no man comes to the Father but through me.”(John14:6) From those verses we see belief in Christ is important as well as the fact that Jesus is the only way to God. In other Scriptures we see that all men have sinned and no longer match up to God’s perfect standard. “For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God.” Rom.3:34 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Rom.6:23) Jesus invitation to you is “Come unto me, all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your soul.(Matt.11:28-29) Finally some words of Christ “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” (Rev.3:20)

Friend, we don’t offer you a religion of rules and regulations. We don’t offer you a prayer that will remove your problems. We offer you an intimate relationship with Jesus the Messiah and King. A relationship that will lighten your load of life and reveal the love of the Father that you so long for. Do we promise your life will become easy and your money will never run out? No. But we do promise you that you will never regret choosing to serve Jesus. At times the cost is great, but the joy of “the Lord is our strength”.

Are you willing and ready to receive Jesus as your Saviour right now? If so here is a sample prayer to pray with all your heart. “Heavenly Father, I’m here before you today and realize my life is not perfect. Thank you for sending Jesus to die on the Cross for all my sins. Thank you that through Jesus Blood I am forgiven and now the righteousness of God through Christ. Thank you for loving me even when I was in sin. Wash me and make me new! In Jesus name I pray – Amen”

And friend, if you are not yet ready to receive Jesus as your Saviour that’s up to you. The choice must be your’s and you alone are fully responsible for your choice. Make it good today, you’re not promised tomorrow!
